Justus Kraner, M.A.

Justus Kraner has been working as a lawyer in our Cologne office since 2017 and has been a local partner since 2023. He advises clients primarily on German and international construction and plant engineering, as well as on industrial and infrastructure projects, both onshore and offshore. He supports projects in all phases, from the drafting and negotiation of project contracts (engineering, EPC, EPCI, supply, O&M, T&I, etc.), including internationally accepted contract templates (FIDIC, BIMCO, IMCA, etc.), to legal project and claims management vis-à-vis contractual partners, insurers (CAR, EAR, TPI, etc.) and other project participants and third parties, to legal enforcement in court and arbitration proceedings if necessary. Another area of particular expertise is IT law relating to plant construction (including Data Act, Escrow, Cybersecurity).
