Dr Olaf Konzak

Dr Olaf Konzak has been working as a lawyer and partner in our Cologne office since 2018. He provides comprehensive advice to clients on environmental law, in particular waste and wastewater law, mining and excavation law, soil protection and contaminated sites law, emissions trading and immissions control law, as well as nature conservation and water law. Another focus of his work is public construction and planning law. This includes legal project development for the real estate industry, development and security issues, construction planning and building regulations law, land law including reallocation and expropriation, specialist planning law, and public law due diligence for real estate transactions involving commercial and retail locations. In addition, he advises on public commercial law, in particular on tax and fee law, energy industry law, European law, constitutional law, and public pricing law, and is active in legal legislative consulting. In the field of materials law, he advises on REACH, European and German chemicals law, biocide and fertilizer law, and hazardous substances law. In addition, he has particular expertise in criminal and administrative offense law as well as transport law with a focus on the transport of dangerous goods.
