Self-employed tax advisors and tax advisory firms are required by the Implementing Regulation for Tax Advisors, Tax Agents, and Tax Advisory Firms (DVStB) to take out and maintain professional liability insurance. Further details can be found in § 51 DVStB. The minimum sum insured for each individual insurance claim is EUR 250,000.The professional liability insurance for the partnership and the lawyers pursuant to Sections 51, 51a BRAO is provided by AXA Versicherung AG, Colonia-Allee 10 – 20, 51067 Cologne.
Lawyer and notary Dr. Lorenz Claussen is licensed to practice law in the Federal Republic of Germany and is also a notary with his office in Berlin (lawyer-notary pursuant to § 3 (2) BNotO).
